Drought this summer is affecting our "pig supply",  not being able to have the crops to feed the pigs (due to drought), is forcing farmers to slaughter thousands of pigs, which will inevitably drive prices up--so be prepared for your baconator from Wendy's to cost more!

Our media is swarming with this perspective, again we must question our sources and question whether the media is only showing us one part of the story.  Are these protests of 5-10 people and taken out of context? Is the media grouping all Muslim's into the same picture again.  Keep asking questions and seeking other media sources for answers!

Field Trip Option: Ocean Garbage Patch!?

One of the issues found in our class newspaper search was the debris floating around on the Pacific from the Tsunami and Earthquake in Japan last year which is making it's way to North American's west coast.  Now there are cruise ships offering tours to the garbage patch!  Check out the article!
